Utility Department
The Utility Office is responsible for the administrative function of the Electric, Water, Sanitation, Wastewater and Stormwater Utilities.
The Office issues applications for new installations, and is responsible for meter reading, billing, application of payments, transferring service, collection of past due accounts, payment of invoices for materials, and supplies, and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and various other reports.
UTILITY BILLS ARE DUE ON THE 10TH OF EACH MONTH.
PENALTIES APPLY AFTER DUE DATE AND ARE FIGURED AS FOLLOWS:
- Electric & Water: 10% of 1st $3.00 and 3% of balance
- Wastewater: 10% of total amount
- Stormwater: May apply if applicable
- Trash: May apply if applicable
